FARPOINT FILMS HEADS TO CAMERA ON NEW SERIES, ICE VIKINGS

Series follows crews fishing on the frozen, unforgiving Lake Winnipeg

(WINNIPEG, MB) OCTOBER 28, 2019 – Farpoint Films announced today the start of production on their new series, ICE VIKINGS. The docu-series will be filmed solely in Manitoba with local cast and crew. Eight episodes are being produced with partners Viasat World and the series will be distributed by Beyond Distribution.

Ice Vikings takes viewers inside a world never before seen on television: Lake Winnipeg’s commercial ice fishing industry, where descendants of Icelandic Vikings race against time and weather to bring their catch to shore before the ice gives way.
