(WINNIPEG, MB) SEPTEMBER 5, 2023 - Farpoint Films announced today the start of production on a new series, I Died…And Came Back. Filming has started and continues through the rest of the year in Canada and the United States. The 13-episode series will premiere on Super Channel in 2024.
Each hour-long episode of I Died…And Came Back follows the true story of a person that crossed over to the other side, then somehow, miraculously, returned to the land of the living.
But how did they come back? What did they see? Who did they see? What did they learn? Utilizing first-person interviews, dramatic recreations of the near-death experience (NDE), and insight from medical and science experts and family and friends, the full story of the NDE will come to life.
“Death is one of the things we all have in common and sharing the experiences of NDE’s can bring us collectively toward an appreciation of our lives here and now,” said Farpoint’s John Barnard. “We’re exploring the mystery of death and rebirth and can’t wait to share what we find.”
In each story, a medical professional provides fascinating insight into what’s happening within the person’s body as they draw their last breath. Every death is different, and every resurrection is different.
I Died…And Came Back is part of Farpoint’s exclusive deal with Super Channel to provide 150 hours of scripted and non-scripted shows over the next year and will premiere in 2024.
