Farpoint Films is pleased to announce its new series, My Misdiagnosis, will start production in April 2018. The 26-episode medical mystery documentary series will be filming primarily in Manitoba with an all-Manitoba cast and crew. My Misdiagnosis is produced in association with Rive Gauche Television and will be available for worldwide distribution as of July 2018.
Each hour-long episode features two factual stories told by patients and survivors about how they were misdiagnosed by a medical professional and thankfully sought out a second opinion that ultimately saved their life.
“We are excited to start production on this show because we will be employing a Manitoba-based crew and recreation cast in order to tell these important stories,” said Scott R. Leary, co-creator of the series at Farpoint Films. “This once again proves that the investment in Manitoba talent allows us to create shows for the world stage.”

The My Misdiagnosis creative team includes producer/co-creator Scott R. Leary (Escape Or Die!), writer/co-creator Chris Charney (The Illegal Eater), director/co-creator John Barnard (Menorca), producer Kyle Bornais (Room For Rent), with original music by Mitch Dorge.
