Menorca won four Windy Awards at the Winnipeg Film Group's second annual event this past Saturday night.
Writer/director John Barnard and director of photography Markus Henkel were on hand to accept the awards for Best Sound (Mitch Dorge), Best Production Design (Gordon Wilding), Best Picture and Best Cinematography.
Markus collected an additional three awards for the short film, Imitations, that he created with Ian Bawa, Fabian Velasco and Milos Mitrovic.
The Windy Awards is an awards ceremony designed to honor excellence and provide special recognition to the Independent Manitoba film community in multiple director and craft categories.
