Monday, November 28, 2011

Director John Barnard's Sierra's Song is set to play at the Indianer Inuit Film Festival in Stuttgart, Germany. Sierra's Song is a documentary portrait of 16 year old Metis fiddler Sierra Noble and the role Metis fiddle music takes in her life. Noble, now a professional recording artist has incorporated her Metis roots into the roots/country genre.

The Indianer Inuit: Das Nordamerika Filmfestival takes place January 19th - 22nd, 2012. It is a unique festival where filmmakers from North America, Mexico, France, Sweden, Germany, and Turkey submitted countless films for consideration and only a handful will actually be show.
