Farpoint Reigns In The Sheepdogs Feature

That's right, you heard it here first. Farpoint Films is in production on a rock-doc feature film that chronicles the band The Sheepdogs after their Rolling Stone magazine cover story. Directing the film is Farpoint Films' own John Barnard.

The Saskatoon band has been busy supporting The Kings Of Leon and are now embarking on a headlining and festival tour of North America in the months ahead.

Since forming the band in 2006, The Sheepdogs have assembled a loyal following and found acclaim for a musical approach rooted in classic rock. Their diverse fan-base boasts everyone from Ice T to Prime Minister Stephen Harper. They are the only unsigned band -or individuals for that matter- to have ever appeared on the cover on Rolling Stone.

The Sheepdogs feature doc will premiere on Canada's Superchannel in 2013.
