John Barnard's A Fable About Beauty To Premiere at CFC's World Wide Fest

John Barnard's film A Fable About Beauty is set to make it's World Premiere at the Canadian Film Centre's World Wide Short Film Festival this June in Toronto. The comedic film follows an ensemble cast, chronicling a clash between an aspiring young novelist and an unorthodox documentary filmmaker while two quirky witnesses watch the whole scenario unfold right in front of them.

The film stars Sarah Constable (House Party), Tricia Cooper (The Royal Liechtenstein Comedy Theatre), Jacqueline Guertin (Winnipeg Burlesque) and Geoff Banjavich (Hey Happy) and is narrated by Michael O'Sullivan (Gorilla Trap).

A Fable About Beauty was written and directed by John Barnard.

2010 marks the CFC's World Wide Short Film Festival 16th year and has one of the largest prize package offerings for any short film in the world. It is also one of only three Canadian festivals accredited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The fest runs from June 1st to the 6th, 2010.
