Winnipeg Burlesque Wins Big At Derby City!

Farpoint Films is happy to announce that Winnipeg Burlesque has won the best documentary award at the Derby City Films Festival in Louisville, Kentucky. 2010 marks the second year for the festival that prides itself on being an indie film fest that focuses on filmmakers rather than hollywood celebrities.

Winnipeg Burlesque follows the rise of exotic dancing in a prairie city through the story of Winnipeg's Queen of the Burlesque Gladys Balsillie.
